Virginia Housing Accessibility Grants
To foster independence and provide assistance to those who need barrier-free rental housing, we administer grants of up to $8,000 through our Rental Unit Accessibility Modification (RUAM) program.
Accessibility grants can support the addition of wheelchair ramps outside a home.
The accessibility grant will cover the installation of grab bars, among other in-home updates.
